Abstract:This paper analysis space shear wall structures and foundations respectively by the double extended substructure finite element method and the finite layer method which has been developed by the authors for the elastic half-space, presents the general method and programs for analysing the three-dimentional problems of interaction between space shear wall structures and any kind of elastic foundations.The calculation and analysis for the three-dimentional problem of interaction between a space shear wall structure taking L-form plane and a non-homogeneous foundation explain it is very important to analyse interaction of these space structures and foundations in accordance with space subjects, and emphasize that the influence of adjoining buildings located at unfavorable places must be treated carefully.
