Displacement monitoring and deformation characteristics of a deep foundation pit in Lanzhou

Abstract:Taking the deep foundation pit of China Mobile Group Gansu Co., Ltd. as an example, a total of 20 monitoring points are arranged around the excavation sideline of the foundation pit. The horizontal displacements and vertical displacements at the monitoring points are monitored respectively in real time during the process of excavation construction. According to the monitoring results, the deformation characteristics of soil-nailing composite pre-stressed anchor supporting wall, soil-nailing wall and row-pile composite pre-stressed anchor supporting structures are analyzed. The monitoring and analysis results show that the design scheme for the supporting structures is reasonable, the effectiveness is good and the requirements of design and environment are satisfied. The experience gained from this project plays a guiding role in the similar projects in Lanzhou. The monitoring results also show the applicability of soil-nailing composite pre-stressed anchor supporting wall, soil-nailing wall and row-pile composite pre-stressed anchor supporting structures in Lanzhou area.
