Abstract:In order to study the model of high-pile cap foundation, solid element model, shell element model and pipe and shell element model are established by means of the finite element software ANSYS. 12 natural frequencies of the high-pile cap foundation are obtained. The calculated results show that the frequencies of the three models are very close, so different units will not affect the modal analysis. The method adopting the pipe and shell model, compared with other two kinds of modeling methods, has the advantage of fewer units and simpler model, so it should be firstly considered in the modal analysis of high-pile cap foundation.
