Abstract:A PHC uplift pile with hold-hoop connection is proposed. Through theoretical analysis and example calculation, it is found that the pullout capacity of the connection pipe pile is improved significantly, and the connection is less prone to be destructed. In the actual engineering application, the effect of pile uplift is excellent. It may provide a more convenient and economical type of new pile for engineering application.
