Excavation dewatering and ground subsidence in dual structural stratum of Wuhan

Abstract: The engineering geological characteristics of the dual structure stratum, in Wuhan are analyzed. Combined with the ground subsidence and groundwater flow characteristics, a geological model for excavations with dual structural stratum is established. Associated with the use of software of Processing Modflow to calculate settlement around the excavation, the rules of ground settlement of excavations with dual structural stratum in Wuhan are obtained. It may provide a theoretical foundation and practical support for the similar projects.
