Abstract：The distribution of landslide K7 — K45 section of Shizhu-Zhongxian Highway is analyzed. The distribution laws of landslide are influenced by topography, character of strata and geologic formation. So the design of highways is to avoid disease. If the highway can’t avoid the disease, the designer must give suggestions for proper measures. The main causes for landslide are investigated. To change the inner factor is difficult, so proper measures are necessary. Building highways will cause disease of old landslide and produce disease of new landslide. The treatment of landslide must be considered in the construction of highways. The principle of treating the disease as early as possible and avoiding treating the disease again and again should be aclopted.
