Abstract：The simulative principle of the cable in the program was introduced.Then combining with the model test,the horizontal and vertical displacement trait of the tilted wall and the vertical wall of the pit foundation were compared and analyzed by use of the method of numerical simulation.The numerical results showed that the pre-stressed cable could reduce the horizontal and vertical displacement of the pit foundation remarkably;the reinforcing effect of the full-length bonding cable on the soft rock-soil mass was especially remarkable;the influence of the magnitude of the initial pre-stressing force upon the reinforcing effect on the pit foundation was comparatively evident in the process of the excavation.
