Abstract：According to the design and geological condition of Yangzong tunnel, which lies on the highway of Kunming-Shilin,numerical methods used to analyze the mechanical responses of flat big segment highway tunnel on soft rock. Then the stress field and displacement field induced by the nonlinear mechanical action of different constructional methods are studied, and the rational construction method of big segment highway tunnel is determined.
