Abstract：Having reviewed the published threedimensional models of limit equilibrium analysis,the authors suggested a new approach for threedimensional slope analysis. The interslice forces and the direction of shear force on the sliding surface are taken into account in the new method which supposed the failure mass is in static equilibrium along three directions.
