Abstract：With linear elastic-plastic load transfer function, a set of analytical equations for the axial load-selilement curves of pile were established, and a simplilied recurrence procedure was proposed to analyze the load-setilement behavior of pile in layered soil. This paper will be of practical significance for design of pile foundation. Several case studies are given to show the effechveness of this method.
